The prime time to visit Baili Dujuan is in late spring (April to May). Gentle spring breezes accompany you as you wander through the endless seas of azaleas across the mountains, leaving all worldly worries behind. Baili Dujuan Scenic Area covers a total area of 692.5 square kilometers. As the largest primitive azalea forest belt in China, it is also hailed as "The Ribbon of the Earth, the Garden of the World". The scenic area is divided into four main zones: Jinpo, Pudi, Azalea King, and Jiamu. Visitors can choose which zones to explore depending on how the azaleas are blooming.
