Biasha Miao Village, an ancient Miao settlement in Guizhou, is acclaimed as a "living fossil" and "ecological museum" of Miao culture. Located in the heart of Moon Mountain, it lies about 7.5 kilometers from the downtown area of Congjiang County, with an altitude ranging from 480 to 660 meters. It consists of five natural hamlets, covering a total area of 18.28 square kilometers. The village is built on the mountainside, with stilted buildings scattered in harmony with ancient trees and granaries, creating a pristine, balanced landscape. The village has unique cultural customs. The men of Biasha keep the "hugun" hairstyle (a topknot with shaved sides), wear black high-waisted coats and straight-leg trousers, and carry muskets and waist knives with them at all times. They are known as "China's last tribe legally allowed to carry guns".
