Initial Experience of Karst Landscapes

The journey begins with a hike through the vast "sea" of rocks. Here, the typical karst features shaped by millions of years of geological activity can be observed, including gray stone pillars and stalactites that form a "miniature karst forest" resembling a natural maze. The group leader guides the participants in identifying peculiar rocks and learning about the causes of landform features such as "solution gullies" and "peak clusters", thus getting a glimpse of the geological legend of Guizhou, the "Mountainous Park Province".

Gentle Slope Stone Steps for Leisure Walk

After leaving the Stone Forest area, follow the well-built gentle slope stone steps to venture deeper into the valley. The journey is smooth and comfortable, allowing you to immerse yourself in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the peaceful rural scenery surrounded by the stone mountains. In winter, the grass slopes take on a unique warm yellow hue. This leisure walk lasts approximately 40 minutes and serves as a transitional phase for adjusting your breathing and adapting to the pace. It is suitable for participants of all ages.

Exploring the Enchanted Rock Peculiarities

Enter the core hiking exploration section and venture deep into the primitive and extraordinary rock formations. The rocks here have undergone various forms of weathering and erosion, resembling cute animals or imposing ruins of ancient castles. With safety ensured, you can walk through the rock formations, find the best shooting angles, and experience the divine craftsmanship of nature. The leader will also share interesting legends about the local peculiar rocks.

Roasting Fire in the Wild, Writing Auspicious Characters on Red Paper

After the exploration is over, light a fire on the sheltered and flat stone platform in the open area. Experience the outdoor mountain and wild fire-pot noodle soup, sit together and enjoy the steaming hot spicy soup and abundant dishes. After the meal, prepare pens, ink and red paper, and write "Fu" characters and Spring Festival couplets among the mountains, rocks, sky and earth. Incorporate traditional New Year blessings into the ink and brushwork, and gain the flavor of the New Year and good luck.

Take photos with fireworks and make New Year wishes

After sunset, in the designated safe area, each participant can hold a small cold light firework or an electronic firework stick, and take a New Year commemorative photo against the backdrop of the Stone Forest Scenic Area. In the midst of the fireworks'    glow, make New Year wishes and end this hiking trip with a memorable note.
